Welcome to the 32nd Annual Congress of the Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia (ATCSA) 2024, scheduled from November 21st to 24th at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Hosted by the Malaysian Association for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (MATCVS), this prestigious event will run alongside the ATCSA Annual Conference under the theme "Synergy In Innovation & Expertise." It will delve into the latest technological advancements and breakthroughs in Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeries, enhancing skills and management practices for both adults and pediatrics. The congress also offers a platform to connect with key opinion leaders regionally and internationally.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, serves as an ideal destination for this congress in Asia, offering a blend of modern infrastructure, cultural richness, and hospitality. Pre-Congress: CALS Workshop
Cardiac Surgical Advanced Life Support or CALS is an internationally renowned resuscitation course, endorsed by the ERC, EACTS and STS.
Participants will be taught how to recognise and swiftly manage the three main types of cardiac arrest as well as gain hands on experience and confidence with lifesaving practical skills including chest re-opening, internal cardiac massage and defibrillation.
